Vidare in till kärnan

(ego)
The project will bring me back to my childhood and the small town in southern Sweden where I grew up. The memories are many and the feelings are difficult to sort. Still, my aim is to reach the childish senses, the impressions I got, the love I felt through care from trusted ones, the sounds that defined an action, a familiar smell.

Time is still
The grace that you embody
Watching you, observing your touch
A hint of trouble
Stories sealed in walls

unlocked
This project is a photo book called ‘unlocked’. A journey from outside in where children’s different personalities are explored. Pure innocence intertwined with a much more complex and conflicting sense of self. The feeling of belonging, achievement and vulnerability is pictured in very sincere and authentic ways. Unlocked is a mix of everyday situations and more playful moments where the children’s fantasies and dreams are central.
All pictures are taken inside our walls.
This is our world – unlocked.

Exhibition and book launch (blurb.com) in Oslo, June 2012.
